If you are sold by the plot & the cast, don’t be - 2 stars is generous for this film - Lordy me I’ve seen some ridiculous films in the past and this beats them all. Whoever wrote this drivel clearly didn’t hand their work in for checking. Here there and everywhere across the globe with completely unbelievable scenarios and outcomes, you could actually work out what was going to happen next, just think of the most ridiculous thing - SPOILER ALERT I mean heat sealing missile zooming through the helicopter doors Escaping a Russian prison making your escape on a 6” icy ledge in Russia. Bring head butted by a bull and getting up as if nothing had happened Crashing over a waterfall and walking away. It made early Bond films look serious Netflix, if this your most expensive original film, you have wasted millions of dollars, thus was a complete farce and I sincerely hope you win a Razzie, it’s all you will win.

Spoiler 🚨 Alert Spoiler 🚨 Alert I mark a film by beginning, middle & the end The opening scene, was lacking the Bond music we all associate with Bond and the eyeball shot not going red should of been a marker in the sand if what was to come. You could really of ramped up the John Barry music knowing it was Daniels last outing. Beginning: The opening scenes were spectacular, something you come to expect and the producers & directors didn’t let the gauntlet drop here’s - absolutely fabulous, especially the car chases. Middle: What was that all about? You would need a slide rule & a set of charts to work out what was going on, too much deviation from the story, here there and everywhere, I was totally lost. End: Well, that was brilliant, everything you come to expect from Bond, right real edge of the seat stuff, will he make it, won’t he make it ? Fair to say that’s the end of a few well known characters - Bloefeld, you’ve been part of my growing up that iconic phrase “Goodbye Mr Bond” Felix Lighter & Commander Bond all deceased - whoever fills his boots unless of the same surname they can’t call him James Bond….. As usual some great one liners, especially the scene with the new alleged 007 & her syrup.. 2hrs 40m was a tad long, would I rush back to see it, no, it’s not in the same league as Casino Royale, Skyfall or Spectre or day I say it some of the earlier outings.
