I had this book in 70s, when it was availble as low priced ELBS (English Language Book Society ) UK Edition and still fond of its uniqueness. It was a small handy book and very remarkable globally, as it dealt with even difficult words in a very lucidly comprehensible style to any laymen, by using some basic english words known even to any native English child as well as any foreigners who uses it as second laguage.
