As a Software engineer for 5 years and in tech industry for 10 years, i always wondered how the hell facebook suggest me a friend who i saw in a party. The important thing is that out of all the people there that one friend i was interested was actually gotten suggested that lead me to thinking it is actually not the friend that is suggesting but rather my behavior and complex analysis about myself matching with that person. it is scary how they build relationships out of nowhere
