It’s a great show and I love seeing what made Dexter the Dexter we all came to love and know. As long as they provide good story writing, I hope Dexter Original Sin has many seasons under its belt. I’m impressed so far. I think they did a great job with the characters too. I will admit Deb through me off at first but I do love the Deb in this new series also. You can see where all her potty mouthed antics began. And the actor they got for Dexter “kills it” as Dexter!

This Dexter series (New Blood) pulls from the past but has its own story to tell. This Dexter is older, more mature and yet deep down, still Dexter. I watched the first episode wondering what to think of this new Dexter but by the end, I both understood what happened to him and love the show already. They came out of the gate running and the shows hitting on all cylinders. It’s not the same Dexter series you’re used to but it’s equally good. This Dexter would not be what it is had it not been for the previous Dexter. Isn’t that just how it is for us all? I’m hoping for a good 5 seasons of Dexter New Blood and then for Dexter to have a real fitting ending unlike the first series. Thank you Michael C. Hall and the entire team behind this series!!
