In addition, the film updates viewers on the changes that are occurring with climate change, such as hotter temperatures and water shortages. Don’t miss this film!

Very well acted and a very moving story. Highly recommend.

Very touching story of a writer who lives in Belle Isle for the summer. Not at all happy at the beginning, confined to a wheelchair, drinking far too much alcohol, he slowly begins to interact with next door neighbors, a divorced mom and her 3 daughters, eventually becoming deeply involved with them. Great acting by Morgan Freeman and others in the cast.

One of the most beautiful and unforgettable movies I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been seeing movies for at least 70 years. The photography of the natural world with its flora and fauna is exquisite. The acting is so true to character, and the music is wonderful. Don’t miss this one.

Such a well-acted and uplifting film. So important for us in the western world to see how people in impoverished communities have to live. The “coach” and his family are incredibly supportive and giving to the youngsters he calls “the Pioneers”—a fitting name for these youngsters. It was joyful, with music and dancing and celebration at the end.

Intense and very moving depiction of a brilliant but troubled young man and those remarkable people who help him find meaning and love in his life.

Extraordinary film, with excellent portrayal of pre-revolutionary France. The actors were so well suited to the characters they portrayed. The French love of fine foods and the transition from serving the nobility to serving ordinary citizens spoke to the main theme of the film. The scenery was exquisite and all aspects of this film were harmonious. Don’t miss this one!

Such a gripping drama, with incredible acting, focused on a teenage boy having to face the death of his brother. Family relationships play out as this young man struggles to heal from this tragedy. Unforgettable.
