The book was far better than the movie. Did I enjoy the film; of course and Aaliyah is very easy on the eyes. I couldn't stand the maudlin Interview With The Vampire due to the casting of Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. They ruined the movie for me. I really didn't like the book either.

It's a B movie that you used to see at the old drive in theatres. It could have been very good. Still it's a lot of fun in a cheesy venue.
