Honestly, I seriously hope that only a few things are canon from this movie. Like, the hinted-at past and importance of Hawk's mom was really interesting to me. Other than that, all I can really say about this movie was that it was cool to see all of the sin's fight / combine their attacks again and the movie definitely did an exellent job at showing the friendship / bonds of all the characters in a way that was as humorous, cute, and familiar-feeling as the portrayals from the original canon manga and show (though I havent had the opportunity to read the manga yet). My main issue was with how lackluster and ridiculous the main villains seemed. They were said to be the second most powerful demon group underneath the 10 Commandments themselves, yet all of the seven deadly sins finished them off with barely any effort after literally almost being destroyed by the intense full power of the commandments. They even took down the token red demons with barely any struggle, after it having been previously stated that you have to kill each of a demon's five hearts before it is truly dead. The demons were very bland and copy-paste, in my opinion, and I didnt really understand what it was they were trying to achieve with all their talk of "sacrifices." And then, the giantic monster in the end was only defeated by Hawk's mom without any of the characters wondering why. I was expecting the celestials to be more regal and put together, too, but they were mostly just silly and weak and honestly didnt seem to do much other than give Hawk some annoying (though i love Hawk very much) extra screentime and Meliodas and Elizabeth their dopplegangers. It was aesthetically pleasing and fun to watch whenever they werent garbling up the main story and premise of the show, but the story really ruined it for me and made me really uncomfortable as it seemed to go against a lot of what was previously established.
