This show is so offensively bad. Take a few of the worst elements from the critically-acclaimed Battlestar Galactica then mix it in with at least 4 different generic sub-plots (which are barely or not sci-fi and can be set anywhere). The link to BSG is almost non-existent besides trotting out little Willie Adama once in awhile so you can go ... hey, i know him! The acting is atrocious because the writing is just so awful. The supporting characters (who you've seen on all other Vancouver/Canada-shot series) do a better job than the main cast, besides Eric Stoltz and Esai Morales. The problem is that it jumps around these other bad irrelevant sub-plots that it's hard to stay interested in anything. The teen "so edgy" virtual world bits are the weakest part of the whole series and unfortunately they consist of a large part of the series. So sad I paid $10 on sale to purchase this digitally thinking it couldn't be all that bad. It's even worse when you think about how BSG Season 4 quality suffered for this series.
