Actually really liked it. Clearly setting up the next era, although I was less familiar with the Eternals this world building was good and excited about the world it sets up. Also loved Gemma Chan and seeing the family reunion of Jon Snow and Robb Stark

This film is derivative of all the Cinderella’s from before it…the costume aesthetic of Disney’s 2015, the musical inspiration of Ella enchanted, and the characterization of Rogers and Hammerstein with none of the heart of any of the above. Camilla has a great voice, the background extras are all super talented. There are some comedic moments, some good one liners, but overall it’s not the best Cinderella I’ve ever seen and has nothing really new to add to the tale

The weight of the message is buried under the boring, slow, overly artsy cinematography and wide-shots. I appreciate the idea of the mundane and subtle ways in which corporate culture perpetuates abuse but I had to watch this in double time in order to get through the microwaving and photocopying

I loved this fun but thoughtful tech-drama and can't wait for season 2!
