The bus was pretty cool. Sadly it's only in the begining of the movie. I liked nothing else about this movie.

We're it not for the story, I would have rated this a 3. Take the look of Flags of Our Fathers, kinda, add Rambo special effects, and finish with Power Ranger stunts. That's my take on the combat scenes. I googled "military advisor for Hacksaw Ridge" and got no results. This does not surprise me. I thought the scenes from Desmond Doss' civilian life were the most well done. Any portrayal if Doss' heroism could never do him justice, but a very good effort was made in this movie.

A must watch for any western fan. The pinnacle of the genre. No perfectly good good guys. No completely bad bad guys. Nuanced story telling, with nuanced characters. Less predictable than the perfect happily ever after ending of most westerners.

Trying to list what was done wrong, in creating this garbage barge fire, would take entirely too long. So I will present a comprehensive list things done right. 1. Nothing. Watching this emboldens a group of people who attack film critics, and tries to censor their voices. They made a bad movie, and cannot accept that fact, or the natural consequences of their ill advised actions. I suspect the creative team behind this is used to receiving participant trophies. Surely they were raised by enablers. Have a mole removed with a cheese grater, instead watching this "movie". It would be at least three times more enjoyable.
