Gedalia Walls

This movie was a great remake of the classic Broadway show. The reworked songs were an enjoyable artistic interpretation of an old classic. It makes me wonder with the large number of bad reviews whether this hit from Broadway could survive a broader audience, and from it's box office performance, I would guess the answer is "no". The performances were great. It called back to the amazing sets on Broadway. The story was just as I remembered it with a few touches. The musical numbers and dancing were excellent. Victoria was delivered by a great newcomer to the screen. If you liked the Broadway show, then you'll really enjoy this interpretation.
