I would give this show 2.5 stars if I could. 3 is too high and 2 is too low. Honestly, I was extremely excited to watch this short series but past episode 2 it was such a drag to watch. From episode 3 the storyline felt extremely redundant. Elizabeth was enlisting new investors, refusing to show them the labs, firing employees that get too close to the truth or consistently restricting access to other departments in the building. Honestly, if any part of me ever felt the need to rewatch this show, I would seriously only watch the first 2 episodes and the last 2 episodes, and maybe episode 6 if for some odd reason the beginning of episode 7 didn't make sense to you. Everything else just felt like a waste of time to me.
However, this whole show just showed me that in the end, Elizabeth is still that 18 year old girl, grasping at straws trying to make her dream come through and throughout the process it became her livelihood until she deluded herself that Theranos is actually a real functioning product that can help people because for years, that has been the only conversation that she's had and the only praise that she had received from her even more delusional investors who, might I say stayed on for years investing in a product that since initial investment they didn't have real evidence of testing let alone existence.
