It feels like there was way to much trying to create a new story, while using bland characters, no music, no soul, poor use of color resulting in a story that is boring , painful ...to which the only thing recognizable is the name mulan. Sharing nothing of the charm and spirit of the classic. #1 music??? What disney movie classic has no songs in it? Every child and parent in the world sings those songs. Nicki Caro... wow you wanted to make it more real? Sure we don't break out in to song in the real world.. its a remake of Classic Disney movie. I think people were very disappointed that there was 30seccond of quiet music clips of the original songs. #2 where's the soul? Poor use of color throught the movie. Where's the guardians? An imaginary phoenix..a witch... Where is character development? Forced deep voices, no father daughter interaction, crapy camera angels and fight scenes of a B chinese movie. Im Sorry, I spent money to see this. .
