This game is the biggest disappointment in my 30 years of gaming. Poor selection of racecars. Poor selection of tracks. The AI brake checked me on a straight and I got a time penalty! No test driving cars, you have to do a race. Car levelling system is monotonous and just designed to squeeze out more gameplay hours. Graphics look exactly the same as the last 3 games. Menus don't save your race setup settings if you forget to change something and have to go back (it's suddenly raining and a night race, you have no headlights and you have medium slicks on). Drift and drag setups with no options to do drift or drag races! This game feels like it's an advert for manufacturer's mid-range road cars. Where's the passion for racing gone? Where's the hybrid-era F1 cars, Where's the V8/V10 era F1 cars? Where's the other formula cars? Where's the Indy cars? Where's the Ford RS200? Where's the Zonda R? Where's the drift cars? Where's the Aston Martin Valkyrie or DBR9? Where are tracks like Bathurst and Road Atlanta? WHERE'S NORDSCHLEIFE?! I really tried to like this game as I've always been a fan of Forza but this is a huge step backwards. It just feels hollow; deliberately empty to get customers to spend more money on car packs etc. It's like they've combined all the previous Forza Motorsport games but taken out all of the good cars and tracks. I know you're thinking 1 star is a bit harsh, but these guys had 6 years to create the perfect racing game and they failed miserably. I keep trying to like it but every time I play it I feel frustratedly disappointed and angry at how bad it is. They had the winning formula with Forza 7. They just had to update the graphics, and add in a few things like tyre compounds, updated engine sounds etc. Add a few more of the modern cars and a handful of tracks, and it would have been great. Instead they decided to abandon their extensive back catalogue of great games and rebuild it from the ground up. Don't fix it if it ain't broke. I want my money back.

Great campaign but multiplayer ruined by forced crossplay, massive updates and microtransactions.
