An absolute classic. Tremors is that odd film that not only manages to be goofy but also dead serious when it needs to. You wouldn't imagine a film about giant underground worms would be that intriguing, but when you have an excellent cast in Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward, and plenty of co-stars to support them, it makes everything better.
You can watch Tremors with any type of person and enjoy the movie because it hits all the right notes and plays perfectly with what it is. Yes, the sequels that landed years later were not nearly as enjoyable or clever, but take the franchise in as a whole over a lazy afternoon and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Tremors is a blast and a reminder of what movies used to be like in the days before CGI and modern gimmickry. Watch it now.
