Extremely well detailed. The author was there to watch the rising darkness. Not only did he report the news from Berlin, he also kept detailed diaries of all the things he was unable to report due to censorship. He also attended the Nuremburg trials. He poured over Nazi documents. Few men had his perspective on the subject.

Fun show. The characters are all broken in one way or another and yet they become a family of sorts. It isn't a straight line, but it has all the elements of a battle with both human and supernatural forces.

A fun and whimsical show that actually goes places most shows won't. I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend it as a fun family show with some interesting twists. I was so impressed that I've already added the first book in the series to my reading list.
