It’s no marvel movie for sure. But it’s quite excruciating to watch. The only compelling character is the female Japanese scientist. The married couple and kids i just wanted to be eaten, the soldier seemed dumber than a rock, and the English kids are just plain irritating and seem to add nothing. Plot holes abound, How can complete cities be emptied? Where are the people? The aliens seem to be pretty bad at this invasion thing.
