This is the most interesting boring movie I've ever been captured by. I kept waiting for it to get better and it doesn't. From what I can fathom "Jenny" aka Alice was a piano prodigy that lost her mind and left her life without word to anyone, 15 years ago. Alice decided to pop in on her former boyfriend by contriving a huge story and befriending his best friend, manages an invite to her 15 year ago boyfriends'home for his birthday. He is the most boring man ever. He could bore frosting off a cake. He doesn't admit he knows her which sets an intrigue that never comes to fruition. It seems he takes pity on her mental state and it seems being a piano prodigy kept her in a state of constant attempts at perfection and not being able to master the piano to perfection, made her break with reality. Somehow her obvious mental illness does not hamper her financially ability to afford to keep leaving one fake life to take on another personality and deceive those she forms her new life around ....knowing she will not have to live up to any life or part she has created for herself bc she will only leave again. Stupid fascinating movie but a waste of time. I'd skip it.
