Good setting, nice gameplay. Characters are a bit dull and after one or two cutscenes you already know everything about them. The historical figures in the game serve literally no purpose except showing a famous name on your screen. The parkour is stiff and not as fluid as other AC games. The PC port was straight up a dumpster fire, with many issues regarding performance even on high-end systems. I never understood the grappling hook mechanic, but I admit that it feels satisfying at times. Lots of microtransactions which ruin the experience of obtaining everything through playing (like a normal videogame). One star for the amazing setting, I loved Victorian-era London with all of its small details that the developers have put into it, like the sounds of steam engines in the distance, the constant fog and generally the whole personality of the city. Two stars for the gameplay, which in my opinion felt satisfying. Not a bad AC game, not a good AC game either.
