We began watching SHMT from its premiere, and really enjoyed the acting, simple plot lines, and lack of an agenda that detracted from the show. That changed in the most recent episode. It was as if they had dumped their agenda on us all at one time, and regrettably, detracted from all that was good and fun about the show. Not sure we want to experience that strongarm approach again. Dry Bar Comedy here we come.

We went expecting a film that was both funny and inoffensive. Disappointed on both fronts. There were occasional humorous lines and a smart jab here and there, and Reynolds was pleasant enough, but for the most part it seemed a little silly, very predictable, and the profanity was spattered thick throughout like pigeon droppings on a statue. Definitely not for those who choose not to spend the majority of their waking hours on screen-time. Ice cream afterwards was a must.
