The pretense of this movie is ridiculous at best, grossly delusional at worst. The idea that right wing militias would try to overthrow the government is absurd for many reasons, the most notable being that most militias are comprised of military veterans, people who are fiercely devoted to the Constitution. So in order for these individuals to feel compelled enough to disregard their sacred oaths they would have to feel the government was as the founders put it " destructive to the rights of its people ". If that was the case I can assure you 2 thing's, 1-at least half the military would defect and 2- in a secession scenario, there is no tactical advantage to sending troops into hostile territory for some eastern base of operations. More then likely the states who secede would fortify their own borders and solidify control over their corresponding states and form a separate country. Secession is highly unlikely, more likely if our centralized government becomes tyrannical, a military coup to overthrow corrupt leadership would occur. Don't get too excited Lefties, as of current- President Trump is highly respected by the majority of the military.
