So what right wingnut group is orchestrating the ridiculous wave of the same copy and paste review? Too intellectually limited to make their own comments, I guess. I enjoyed seeing Julia Roberts play out of character. To say that Mahershela Ali was not good in this is a total injustice. Ethan Hawk has a great scene at the end. This was not a serious examination of a war scenario but an analysis of how humanity can break down rapidly in the face of a serious crisis. I found it quite watchable. That being said, the end totally lost me.

Love all the people saying that Anna Chlumsky's Vivian is annoying. I was a journalism major and that quality (better described as ' extreme persistance') is often what makes for a successful reporter. Couldn't do it full time myself so I did something different. I think she is excellent as is Julia Garner.

I went in skeptical, with the belief that a Nazi Comedy was an oxymoron. The film proved me totally wrong: great comic turns by Rebel Wilson and Sam Rockwell (a Nazi who turned out to have a trace of decency), vivid characterization from Scarlett Johansson and moving performances from two young actors. A film truly worth seeing.

Those who carp about the foul language and smoking (really...it was the 50's) are missing the boat. This series is absolutely lyrical in its portrayal : 2nd year is even better than the first. The madcap action of that first dance in the resort...the rapid fire verbal interchange in the apartment.. beautifully written and directed. The creation of vivid characters is masterful. My only minor complaint is Joel's parents who sometimes come off as Jewish Steppab Fetchit cariactures.
