This is the BEST show on television today. The series shows us just how dumb we are, yet it shows just how hard it is to make life work for us with all the difficult decisions we have to make every day. For example, when Steve Carell's character has to decide how to avoid killing off all the Chinese on the moon, who were just ordered to run over our flag, he finally asks for help from John Malcovich. He makes the very wise choice of doing nothing for as long as he can, and then directs our people on the new moon base to destroy ALL their guns and turn them into plowshares... WHY CAN'T WE DO THAT NOW??? Melt down all guns and recycle them into items we can use constructively in our every day lives?? ALSO, the writers use the very innovative (and, to my knowledge, never before used) strategy of not telling us why Steve's on screen wife is in jail. This is an adaptation of the original theme in the series of not doing anything until something really NEEDS to be done. Guess we MIGHT find out why she's in jail on the much anticipated NEXT SEASON.... HEY, you "anti-spaceforcians," GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSES AND ADMIT THIS IS A WELL LOVED SHOW BY 88% OF US VIEWERS. WE MUST LIKE SOMETHING ABOUT IT, EH???????????
