May be the greatest cinema series made for TV ever. Beautifully filmed with a cast and story for the ages. The two protagonists came alive from the opening scenes of the first episode. They are strong, resilient and their friendship though complicated is drawn better than any male friendship I have ever seen portrayed. See it as soon as possible and make sure your friends and family, especially your daughters see it as well ! I am about to turn 78 and the beach scenes brought back a flood of memories of what it felt like to be on the beach in the summer of my teen years with friends, especially those of the opposite sex. The genius of this production is it’s universality in capturing what it is to be young, something we carry with us all the days of our lives.
