"The Hate U Give" by Angie Thomas gives a strong example of police brutality on the Black community. This book gives you insight on the struggles of being black in a world full of ignorance, and inspires you to help make a change. I loved this book because the main character, Starr struggles with being her self, and I can relate to that. This is an admirable book.
