I understand this game is meant for children, and I will agree for their age its good. But for me, and any long-time fans of the series, in particular will mostly think its terrible. I played Explorers of Skies, best game and definitely tough to beat if you dont manage well (If your child is new to the series, I dont prefer them to this just yet until they understand how it works). But comparing them, PSMD doesn’t have a good story. Yes its easy to follow, but its just boring, I cant talk further about it without spoiling the game. Gameplay I do like to an extent, perfect for newcomers, to me its more that its a bit too easy. I will agree that some of the dungeons are hard and difficult, I had issues too, but the Bands/Bracelets you get make the game easy sometimes. I do love how you could choose your ‘Mon even if you dont get what you wanted. Plenty in the line up to choose from. Dont take me as someone who just rages on bad games, although I sorta did, but take my words with understanding as I played my preferred DS game from childhood: Skies.
