3.5. This movie was entertaining enough. Not all movies can be really great. What I gathered from this comedy-disaster film, was that it’s focusing on America and how many people ignore life-threatening events, but more specifically, climate change. I also think it was hinting towards how we handled the pandemic (Covid-19), along with political issues. It did hit some good points because we don’t take caution as much as we should at times (like wearing our masks often and avoiding gatherings, especially as Omicron cases surge). There was some chuckles here and there. As for Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi, the song was catchy - with her melodic vocals she made it sound wonderful when she’s really saying, “We dumba**, didn’t listen to these qualified scientists… just look up”. The ending ties back to a prediction made from this strange, yet intelligent billionaire, which seemed to play-off of Steve Jobs and Tech moguls in our time. Is it worth to watch? It depends on your humor and if you like the cast. I enjoy Leo DiCaprio, Tyler Perry, Jonah Hill, and Meryl Streep. But would I watch it again? Probably not.
