Hamfisted story tropes make the already kinda bland (albeit clever, it's really neat for a while but gets boring) gameplay feel less rewarding. Pretty good game, definitely deserving of its typical 80-ish% rating. Like Steam Awards 2019 said, it's soap opera level dramatic. I find the super powers in this supposedly "darkest time in history" less historic than the descriptions may lead one to think. All-in-all if you're not a fan of repetitiveness, watch a Let's Play. If you're not a fan of vague fantasy mixed with relative historic themes, maybe steer away.
I personally enjoyed the game, despite the aforementioned flaws. Really though, watching it is a strong recommendation if you don't have patience for drawn out, very easy (other than that waiting) puzzle-y stealth segments.
