Her monotone voice definitely doesn’t help when she’s trying to make a sad situation sound funny. Sounds like there’s some forced laughter from the audience. Still made me laugh out loud sometimes

This movie was just okay. Super dry comedy. Story wasn’t great

I have no idea why this show became so popular. I like the plot but definitely feel like I wasted my time watching this instead of another show. It’s not only that the ending was not at all what (I imagine) most people would want it to be. It’s just suspense that always builds up to tragedy. Without giving too much away, they spent lots of time on a character who had close to no impact in the outcome of the show and don’t even care to explain it one bit. This doesn’t even teach a life lesson. There’s a reason this got rejected multiple times. I think people just liked the original concept and social media made it blow up out of proportion. 3 stars for the acting and occasional plot twists.

Four stars. I just watched this after maybe 10 years and I think the movie is actually very good if you’re looking at it as an origin story and if you’re a Marvel fan I suppose. Some negative things about the movie IMO would be Some directing issues. Like Jennifer Connelly having no personality or even good lines. Her boyfriend that she “loved” got blown up and she puts her hand on her fathers shoulder as to console him. Like what? The end of the movie seemed like lazy writing. Just blew them up during the big fight scene then the movie is basically over. Matter of fact I’m going down to three stars now. Still an underrated movie though
