I gave it a chance and have watched all the episodes so far and just can’t get into it. I think it’s because of my age, and the difference in society from when the original show was on. The original show was relatable, and I was a love befallen 20 something. If you start to watch this with hope it is like HIMYM, you are wasting your time. The two shows are completely incomparable.

It’s an excellent television show, but I hope the daughter goes to college. The plot line involving the daughter is annoying and adds nothing to the show. Once she leaves it will be a 5-star show.
