Great so far. The editing is great and they are great at building suspense

I was really looking forward to this tv-series when it came out. A black family of super-heroes was the dream for me but almost everything about this show is corny. I'm not sure if the intent was to be overly campy but its definitely a difficult watch. Every scenario feels overdone and over-acted but on the bright side, it seems like the actors are having fun. I continue watching just because I stan the cast, not necessarily because of their acting chops but more because they seem like good people off-screen.

I couldn't take my eyes off Shailene Woodley and I understood why both men were infatuated with her. I think most of us would make the logical choice but the movie gave the audience members the freedom to explore the bad choices. It was fascinating to watch.

I used to love the show but the nudity is too much for me. It feels gratuitous and doesn't really add anything to the very short storylines and short seasons.

An absolute classic. Very lighthearted and innocent with great themes for personal growth

The movie was ok. It was watchable for its genre. The predictable plot was expected but it still managed to subvert some expectations. The themes were chosen well and they were very prominent. They speak to the issues that teens today might have and deliver a balanced solution to these problems. The ending was pretty satisfactory and the music was catchy. The singing and dancing talent was amazing, most notably from the female lead and the zombie female sidekick.

if you like romance novels... ALOT! Then you'll probably enjoy this.

So... good. Great acting by a young cast, great editing, great pacing, great story. Would recommend to absolutely everyone.

Love the characters and the group dynamic but there are too many characters and storylines for the number of episodes in the season.

This show is OKAY, definitely watchable. Let me start by saying that I loved the original and it is definitely a cult classic. This reboot did not disappoint, it takes the story in a new direction while doing great callbacks to the original. The core of the story, the skepticism about aliens is still intact and the love story between Max and Liz is still interesting but there is just something missing. The sense of wonder and whimsy of the original is undercut by the older and more cynical characters. The tone of the show has shifted to be more serious. They've also added a rather trendy narrative about immigrants which fits well with the themes and setting of the show. But the show is not very subtle about its opinions on the topic. The series started off with a bang. It is only the first season, and Liz and Max are together, there have already been numerous deaths and Max being an alien doesn't seem to be that important of a secret. I'm already getting the feeling that they are going to be jumping the shark very soon.
