Anna Meadows Helvie

It's been a long time since I've enjoyed an action movie show so much. It gets fast quickly and keeps that suspenseful pace throughout. My husband used to be a TSA agent and thought they were portrayed realistically. Jason Bateman is superb as a bad guy. Tarot Egerton and Danielle Deadwyler do a great job, too. Recommended.

Rewatching this to get caught up because of ST:Picard. It's a fun movie, well-paced, good acting, spiced with decent doses of humor and action. It's better than I remembered. If you go into it not expecting a masterpiece, you'll enjoy it.

Star Trek: The Next Generation is my all-time favorite show, and Star Trek: Picard now co-reigns with it as my favorite. I see comments from a lot of Trekkies about how they don't like the direction some things are taking. I love it. I LOVE seeing the people that ended up less than successful in Starfleet. I LOVE the mystery. I LOVE the ambiguity and multiple layers of story-telling. The acting could. not. be. better. The plot is suspenseful and engaging, and I came to care about the new characters quickly. Finally, it is a FEAST of Easter eggs, which, if you are a Trekkie, is always delightful.
