Loved it. I was reluctant to watch because I'd already read the book. The movie didn't disappoint. Rose the Hat is an intriguing and powerful character and steals the show. The death of the baseball boy was a little disturbing but did serve to fully explain what The Knot (monsters truly) need to survive. It was a tad too realistic. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and highly recommend. The Overlook hotel revisit was excellent and really well done.

Panic inducing and so realistic as Alice spiraled away from herself and her family. I can't think of a more frightening way to end the journey of life. For her and for her family. What a cruel manifestation of the mind 😔. This movie is so incredibly well done.
