By far the best RE game, and last game with tank controls. Deserves a remake that sticks to the source material closely.

Didn't play the games but thought the movie as a standalone was decent enough to get 3 stars. It certainly had horror elements but had more laughable comedic moments than jumpscares. I'd rather call it a thriller/comedy overall. The plot was quite simplistic, with a predictable twist near the end that I called early on, and several glaring plot points that could've rendered the story redundant had a character simply done something prior to the movie, the motive for not doing so was fear. This aspect could've been explored more. The acting/actors and atmosphere were probably the best elements to the movie. Thought that the main characters did their job well in regards to acting. Could've been 4 stars had it committed further to being a comedy, not a 'horror'.

I've played through a significant amount of the game and find the levels too long (especially the opening levels), the mechanics convoluted and inconsistent, and the design of the levels themselves at times incredibly frustrating (given some parts rely on half-baked wall run mechanics, grapple hook mechanics, etc.). As well as that, if you're a completionist this game is a nightmare. Some levels you cannot backtrack whatsoever, so if you miss a box you need to redo the whole level or die multiple times until you do it. As well as this, there are boxes that are well-hidden and due to the graphics the colour-scheme blends a lot of boxes into the background. The game itself looks nice, but in the style of Skylanders and is a massive departure from the trilogy. The audio and music is great at least.

This game is beautiful, has tons of lore, and very atmospheric. I originally hated the game because it doesn't hold your hand by any means (no tutorials on how to heal, use objects, etc.) You're entirely on your own. The story missions are mostly straightforward, sometimes vague on the direction. The worst part of the game is the teleportation system which is the use of phonebooths around the city, and you're not told this either. Other issues I found were frame rate drops, general bugs, awful difficulty settings (normal feels like hard), and glitches with the boating mechanics. I'd recommend you get it on sale, or if you're interested in HP Lovecraft.

Not a "remaster" by any means, it's the original games with slightly better graphics on Nintendo Switch. You do however get the soundtrack of all 3 games which you can play at the start menu (ergo the push to 4 and not 3 stars). As well as that, the inside cover art is pretty neat. Buy if you haven't gotten/played any of them or if you're considering replaying for the nostalgic factor. Mario 64 isn't full-screen unfortunately which is a slight let-down. It's also definitely a rage-fest with the clunky camera too! However the cuteness factor (the penguins, Mario sleeping and saying stuff in his dreams, and the designs of characters is great). Side note, don't toss the penguins off the cliffs! That's not nice!

Rewriting as my original review got deleted *note: I'm a writer so expect an in-depth review. *second note: I changed it to 3 stars after finding out the development was rushed and my being hypercritical. This game does grow on you, and once you get over the little bits mentioned below it's quite enjoyable. I managed to finish the original a night before purchasing, and this game isn't as polished and there's a lot to be desired. It looks wonderful, the music is great, the voice acting is a very strong feature, and the animations and designs of character's are nice, in particular Gary. However, the colours are oversaturated in some areas, the lighting is off, the textures don't load fast enough, some of the camp comedy has been removed (the ham the robots used to hit players with) but has been replaced with other jokes if you're familiar to the series, the loading screens are slightly too long, you can repeatedly get hit because of no invisibility after taking damage which leads to more deaths than the original, the camera settings changed every time you changed a character at the bus stop (I ended up giving up and got used to the non-inverted controls), the mechanics are slightly clunky at first but you eventually get used to them, and the buttons for jumping and bubble bowling have swapped. There's a lot to be improved on with this game, which I think is more due to development being rushed and could be patched through updates. I also felt nauseous after a while and had to change the settings on my TV visually and needed to keep a light on, so I'm not sure if it's me or perhaps the game? Overall, is it worth it? Yes. I still believe that you'd enjoy it by giving this game a chance. Overall, I feel this game was rushed near the end and probably didn't have enough time to sort out some of these issues and isn't polished enough, however, the more I'm fiddling with it the more I seem to enjoy it. The replay value of the game is also great, and there's a multiplayer aspect which I've yet to play.

These games are a waste of money and time. Performance issues galore, graphics were like a 3DS game, animations were from the 3DS games do recycled content, story is the worst in the entire franchise, the gyms are boring, bad textures, recycled backgrounds, no National Dex, bad dialogue, confusing characters and character development, sub-par mechanics. I regret purchasing. There's a single post game mission and it's lackluster. The game is dry for content and introduces things like camping and curries to lengthen the gameplay time. Game shouldn't be worth more than $35. *Update: Not only is this game overpriced, overhyped, and watered down content carried from past titles, you have to pay additional money for DLC to unlock 200 other Pokémon. This generation has marked the end of good Pokémon games. If you buy you're getting scammed. Watch a walk-through on YouTube and don't waste $114 per game.
