Let's start with the first scene: the SFX in the mall are unconvincing at best. Having come off watching the original Matrix, the battles have unfinished-looking CGI and it clearly looked rushed in post (a: why? You literally had all the time in the world to polish it? B: I work in production...these are obvious unfinished or crudely done effects.) All the can be forgiven if we have a truly compelling story. The story, though, falls completely flat. It's Aladdin...
