I’ve got nothing against the plot outline of a man that builds a caretaker for his dog in a post-apocalypse world. This film just did not move me at all in its execution. I didn’t find Finch, Jeff, or Goodyear to be more compelling than the world they were in (which we’re given almost nothing about). Very little character development over two hours. Glad so many people legitimately enjoy this film, but I’d take Oliver and Company over it.
