I also thought it would be sad or boring and only watched it because Netflix was down. Wow. It was really good I thought. The acting was excellent as were the deliverance of steroetypical issues Andre and Costner suffered. I really liked the way it wrapped in the end as well. I think Rotten Tomatoes got it wrong and Eberts review was closer. 39 % vs. 3/5 stars. I'm going to give it 4 just because 3 is avg and the movie really surprised me.
