It's fine enough. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense if you assume the game takes place in a real restaurant though. The restaurant is too much like a videogame setting that it doesn't feel realistic. Like, there are a bunch of areas set up like mazes, different level security passes that can be found in gift boxes, the map on the watch. It's good as a videogame, but the story is just weird in the universe it takes place in. The almost completely sentient robots are also weird. However, the game itself is fine. It's cool to explore the place, the mission system is neat, I guess. It can be a bit boring, confusing and tedious at times, but isn't super bad overall. Given the downard trajectory the games have taken since UCN, I assumed the worst. UCN had really strange mechanics and awful jumpscares, but was fun enough. Help Wanted was a boring rehash of previous games, had terrible jumpscares and couldn't mimic the atmosphere of the previous games, despite feeling more immersive. The AR one is so boring and tedious that I forgot its name. Given this and the fact the Scott retired from the project and franchise as a whole, I had low expectations. Given how low they were, this game is fine enough. Worth $40? Not really. If I paid $20 or $25, I'd probably think more of it, but you're not getting the most enjoyment for the price.
