As a fan of the whole Halloween franchise, I thought Halloween Kills did a good job at including extended scenes from John Carpenter's original 1978 classic to bring more life to the story. With that content there was a lot of potential however, I thought the movie got carried away with certain scenes which took away some of excitement of the film. None the less, the movie did a good job of playing off the original classic that fans like me would appreciate, but I was disappointed not to see that material be used to create a stronger plot.
