I think Julia Roberts sounds like she's from Georgia rather than Texas in this movie. She definitely used the wrong accent for a Texan. I'm from Texas and her accent was way off. She should have watched "King of the Hill" to learn the proper accent for the part she plays in this movie. That would have benefitted Tom Hanks as well. That made it hard for me to be convinced and distracted me from the real story. I will write another review when I'm finished with the movie
