top gear needs no introduction, especially for those who loves motoring and basically cars...
the initial trio sets the standard on modern conduct of motoring reviews... along with the popularity of social media platform aka youtube, sprouts many of reviewing channels. whichever styles each took, each of them more or less preserve the spirit/style of the original show... this just show how influential and popular the show was...
along the years, however, it is more of a joke really. gone was the initial informative and rich content, replaced by pure clown entertainment and political incorrectness for the sake of humour... to many, the central attraction of the series was owing to its critical reviews without the influence of commercial backing, unlike many of the local spineless so-called motoring journals.. and sadly, those are gone too....
From TG we have GT, both shows differs in a great deal on presentation... the new TG series beg the talents of chris harris...and should continue to discover... which in him, the original spirit of the series returns.... the passion on embracing technology, and the traditions of motoring... the purity of it... these are the reasons we continue to enjoy TG...
