This is a very subjective documentary and revealed a lot of details which have probably never been shared before. Most of the stories were told by interviewees as First Person. However, what is a sad/ not fair to me is the whole documentory is only focusing on the killer Luka e.g. why he tortured animals/ why he killed and posted videos etc. but much less focusing on the victim Jun himself. E.g. why he came to Canada from China and still was a student at age of 33. How he connected wih Luka, what's the impact on his family or even local Chinese community etc. I understand sometimes the victim's families might not want to be interviewed/ interrupted or kept sharing the stories but what about his other friends/ other ppl that know him? As Jun's friend mentioned in the end - seems Jun has been forgotten which is very sad. Also, what makes me feel sick is how his mother Anna saying in this documentary. She didn't seem to feel guilty at all for what his son did and instead she was still trying to defend his son after so many years. So killing animals are nothing hey? You should be extremely shameful for yourself as well as you raised a criminal/sick killer. I don't understand why the documentary kept filming his mom? Are you trying to pity the killer? What about the victim again?! RIP Jun Lin and FK the mother fker sick killer again. You deserve to go to hell and to be burnt by fire to eternal death.
