Joanne Boswell

I have read a lot of reviews here that say things like “if you’re not a true lover of the genre you won’t get this” or “only true fans of the franchise and Zombie will like this”. WRONG. This movie had ZERO story, ZERO tension, and ZERO originality. It’s like Zombie just decided to trick us and make a reboot of Rejects. I expected a lot more from this visionary film maker. But IMO he phoned this one in. It was more comical then demented. As a movie by itself it would have been okay, but a sequel to this story, it had NOTHING we haven’t seen before. Zombies amazing dialogue was completely absent. I feel very let down. He should have stuck to his initial statement that he would not make another. I would give this 2 out of 5 skulls.
