Utterly ridiculous and a waste of time. Was more suited to Nickelodion than the movie screen. It felt like it was made in a middle school class. DC should be ashamed.

The new "Thor- Love & Thunder" movie had a lot of gods in it. Like "God, that was awful," and "GD it, I paid full price for that?" Christian Bale was wonderful. Outside that... it was ridiculous. They didn't know when to let a joke go, even after it long stopped being funny (i.e. screaming goats). Don't get me wrong... it has good funny moments. The cast was good, they're dialog sucked... badly. In parts of the movie, it feels like it becomes a parady of itself. Taika Waititi wanted to make an 80s sit-com instead of a Marvel movie. Everything, other than Christian Bale's character, seem to be written specifically to accommodate a punchline. The problem is that if you take almost nothing seriously in your movie, the audience won't take anything seriously, even when they need to. Plus, the combat scenes were almost an afterthought. Soooooo disappointing. The new "gods" were just stupid and sophomoric, and added nothing to the story. It does has flashes of being a good Marvel movie. But alas... it wasn't. Not as bad as "Eternals," but worse than "Captain Marvel." Just my opinion, folks. Take it or leave it. Enjoy your weekend.
