Don’t be fooled by the “Horror” designation for this movie. Crawl is 100% a comedy and had me in tears numerous times throughout the film. Moments such as the one armed father yelling “SWIM!” as Haley speeds through her old house’s flooded hallways to avoid being eaten. And, mixed with the iron of Haley, her father, and dog trying to, against better judgment, make a 300 yard journey through alligator infested streets to reach a boat and just as quickly, literally crash back into the house. These and a few other moments are the reason Crawl should be nominated for best comedy of the year. Must Watch!!!
