Very compelling, well acted and great script. Upsetting at times, but that's ok, good art isn't supposed to make us feel good all the time. Hits the right dark laughs perfectly.

If you look at the ratings this show has achieved through its existence, everyone makes excuses for the fact that it's been in the 4's and 5's and near it's rock bottom for years now. True artistry requires taking risks and putting out work that comes from the soul. This version of this show caters to a carved out base and therefore either takes little risk, or keeps going to the bash Trump well because they genuinely lack material or have decided that this is what they want to do. Now they've actually prioritised being some sort of messenger over actually being successful.
