I do not know about the whole of India but most people around me or even in my family no one treats our drivers or maids or any person doing such jobs in the pathetic manner shown in the film. In fact, I myself greet (say namaste) the aunty who comes to pick our trash. Everyone in my society treats her with respect. Also, I don't buy into what the protagonist does by taking the blame on himself for the murder without any protest. Not the most naive will do that. though some people showed annoyance with the depiction of India as filthy that is the truth, we Indians do not care about our roads, we just keep our houses clean. overall I think the movie was average, with some unrealistic bad parts and some fine.
