This movie was a goddamn disaster from the start to end of the film. How can you take the iconic suspenseful horror film from 2004 "the grudge" and give us this terrible movie. During this film we saw several different POV of different characters and before you can start to understand anything it jumps from one to the other without any reasonable context. Why? Were was this movie going with it plot, it felt like this movie was one huge flashback, not only that it showed nothing but a few cheap jumpscares some of which looked like they were ripped from "Annabelle". The characters were uninteresting to say the least and what was with the gender swapped part of the film, why change anything from the original film. Did you even see the original movie at all because it looks like this was was made for a different creature but you slapped on the grudge and called it a day. Overall this movie was a cheap disgrace to the original and i dont recommend it to anyone 1/10 for me.
