Unbelievable. Decent mystery and then in the big shootout the action is repeatedly interrupted to read the 12 Steps of AA. Who could think that was possibly a good idea? Just knocked it down from 3 stars to 1. Liam N. is kinda sleepwalking through the movie but is OK.

All atmosphere, no substance. I would describe it as trying too hard.Background music is very heavy-handed, almost silly. Watching makes me think of eating a disappointing baguette.

I was surprised to find the writer is from a small town since the contempt for small towns is powerful. I do not get the love for Kate Winslet because watching her is like watching someone try to act. And trying way too hard. Just watched another scene, awful.

Boring and overly complicated.
