For the most part the show is really good but there are quite a few episodes that are about being black and the difficulties they have to endure and being part of a woke community.

I was captivated by the story, it was very gripping and heartfelt, but I did not care for shailene's performance. I felt that there was a different actress that would of made it more genuine.
